My career has never followed a conventional path. After studying Forensic Psychology and working within the prison system, I transitioned into the creative industries and have spent the past 14 years working across fashion, editorial, advertising and creative direction.
Throughout my career, I have worked with global brands, publications and cultural organisations, developing concepts, shaping visual narratives and bringing together teams of creatives to deliver projects across a range of disciplines. Alongside my commercial work, I have always been interested in the role creativity can play beyond industry itself.
This interest led me to co-found Root Creative, a sustainability-focused studio that explored more responsible approaches to advertising and production. While Root is no longer operating in its original form, the values that shaped it continue to inform my work today: curiosity, collaboration, responsibility and a belief that creativity can be a force for positive change.
More recently, my practice has expanded into education, facilitation and programme development. I work with universities, councils, charities and community organisations to design workshops, talks and creative programmes that build confidence, open up access to creative opportunities and encourage people to engage with the world around them in new ways.
Alongside this, I have spent the last six years developing a community-focused project on Dartmoor, exploring the relationship between people, place and landscape through long-term creative collaboration. This work, together with my teaching and facilitation, has deepened my interest in how creativity can strengthen connections between people, communities and the natural environment.
Today, my work sits at the intersection of creativity, education, community and nature. Whether working as a creative director, facilitator, lecturer or collaborator, I am interested in creating meaningful experiences that bring people together, encourage curiosity and explore new possibilities for learning, connection and growth.
